Do You Worry About Giving Out Your Credit Card Online?

        • the interface needs to cooperate smoothly with script-blockers like NoScript.

          Security plugins such as NoScript are commonly used and should be encouraged. Your service should not fail silently when NoScript is present. Your user interfaces should display something meaningful and useful even when the ecmascript on the page has been prevented from running. This is sometimes called 'graceful degradation'. There should at least be a message that says to give the page permission and reload it.
